Who can participate by climbing?
Anyone can participate! The climb is open to all individuals who are physically capable of climbing 110 flights.
What is the schedule of events?
Registration will be open from 7am-8am near the South Entrance of the coliseum (see parking info). At 8am sharp registration will close and opening ceremonies will begin with a group photo.
Are there other events that weekend?
Yes! Friday evening we will hold a pre climb gathering at Oak Road Brewery in Summerville where you can pick up your packets, visit with climbers, and enjoy some local food and beverages. On Saturday there will be a post climb celebration with details to come!
Food and Beverage:
There will be plenty of water on site for climbers, both outside and inside the venue. There will be lots of food options at our post climb celebration!
Will there be waves for start times?
Possibly, we will update about waves as we get closer. We do encourage groups to climb together. There will be access for two people to climb side by side in order to go around others and plenty of opportunity for a break should you need to rest. However, we ask that you allow those who may climb often and be physically prepared to enter first in order to help with the flow. Further instruction may be given at opening ceremonies in regards to entry of the building.
Where do we park?
There is plenty of parking at the coliseum. We ask that you please enter from International Drive and not from Montague Drive. There will be apparatus blocking the driveway coming from Montague Drive. When you turn off International Drive go to the right and follow the path to the back of the parking lot.
